Multiplier Event in Portugal

The participants in the Workshop organized by SPI in its headquarters on the 15th September 2017 were representatives of hotels and restaurants. After the initial presentation of the persons, companies and their relation to tourism and responsible tourism, a presentation of the project was done, providing information about the project goals, methodology, target group, activities and results.

After this an informal brainstorming session started, were the stakeholders shared their thoughts on the information provided. From it could be extracted that:

• The promotion materials should be catchy and short, in order to make it easier to get people interested;

• The training materials should not be too long and be very practical and hands on, as the time available for reading might not be too much and the small companies operating in tourism usually do not have much human resources and time to spent on training.
